Assessio is a Swedish test publisher and consultancy organization. We were founded in 1954 and have developed and adapted world class psychometric tools for assessment and development of personnel.

Assessio is an international organization with offices in Sweden, USA, Norway, Finland and in the Öresund region. At the head office in Stockholm, we have a research and development department that conducts research in the field of psychometrics, adaptation of test tools to the Nordic market and development of new cutting edge tests. Assessio employs roughly 20 psychologists conducting assessment and training services.

We have primarily three tests available for distribution and adaptation outside of the Nordic area. We work with a strict model on personality and cognitive ability and these instruments have solid psychometric properties. All three tests are web based and can be used for screening purposes as a front end solution for a recruitment process. These tests add value to the selection process since they help to early on identify the relevant psychological traits of the candidates.

 

 

ServiceFirst is a personality test measuring service potential. Several independent validity studies have consistently shown positive relationships with service performance for front line positions. ServiceFirst is an international test with a large norm group and exists in several language versions.

 

 

Matrigma is a non-verbal test measuring cognitive ability. There’s an abundance of evidence that proves the utility of measuring cognitive ability in recruitment – whether it’s for a lower level or for a higher level job. Matrigma has an international norm group and can be administered in multiple languages.

 

 

MINT, Measuring Integrity, is a personality test based on the five factor model of personality. MINT is used to early in the recruitment process to identify individuals with a heightened risk for displaying counterproductive work behaviors, such as tardiness, theft or being abusive. These individuals get a low score on the test. MINT exists in English as well as in the Nordic languages.

 

We believe that a qualified partner has a background in psychometrics, assessment and recruitment. You’ve probably been around for some time, have a solid client base in your territory and a good financial track record. The organization either employs psychologists that are specialized in industrial and organizational psychology or experts with a solid understanding for work place psychology and psychological tests. Furthermore, you see the market potential for distributing tests through assessment services and to provide training for clients that will be administering the tests themselves.
